DR. MICHAEL G. TURNER
A native of Forest, Mississippi, Dr. Michael Turner is a 1982 graduate of The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a 1986 graduate of Southern College of Optometry. He began his career in 1986 in Dallas Texas and moved back to Oxford in 1989 where he opened his practice on the Square in downtown Oxford, Mississippi and now is currently located on North Lamar in Oxford, MS.
In 2008 he opened his new office where he is today on North Lamar. The Oxford Family Vision Clinic is a full-scope eye care clinic that includes comprehensive eye examinations, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, and medical treatment of all eye diseases. Oxford Family Vision also has a full-service optical laboratory and dispensary where glasses are made on the premises. Oxford Family Vision Clinic has a large inventory of contact lenses including toric lenses for astigmatism and bifocal contacts, one-day contacts, and tints to change or enhance any eye color.

Dr. Turner resides in Oxford with his wife Karol. They have two children Mary Grace and Michael Drew. He has a beautiful granddaughter. He enjoys all outdoor activities including hunting and golf.
